In the wake of the events of Terror in Genzacon, one Thu’ul… the power-hungry Vythu’uz… saw an opportunity. Deep beneath the Gloomport, he enacted a ritual to breach the barrier around the Netherflow and taint the Zyanthuus from which all magic flows. The result? A creeping arcane infection that twists minds, warps bodies, and threatens to spread far beyond the city.

Citizens combust in the streets. The sick claw at their own flesh. The Gloomport is locked down. Only our trusted band of heroes can possibly save the day, as the city’s leadership strains to contain the maddening Netherplague.

Madness in Genzacon unfolds across four intense acts: a divine ritual recovered from the Catacombs, moral quandaries in the plague-wracked wards, traversal of a sewer system flowing thick with the infection, and a confrontation with what Vythu’uz has become — a thing born of corruption, no longer truly Thu’ul, and bent on infecting the Eterniverse itself. He calls himself the Fifth Lord.
