Before the Woe, before the Everflow unraveled, before the Etherns reached too far and shattered the world, they crafted servants of steel. These were thinking, moving constructs that bore no souls… at first. The Inzandra’az began as curiosities. And yet, over time, they began to learn… to yearn…

But freedom would not come easily.

For centuries, the Inzandra’az were treated as simple mechanical slaves. Some Etherns regarded them with kindness… others wiped their minds whenever it was convenient. Their memories, stored within delicate Zytherium cores, became battlegrounds of identity. “Reconstruction is Murder,” they began to say, for to erase memory was to kill the person that had been.

Then came the Woe of Ruin, and with it, liberation. Most were destroyed in the magical cataclysm. Others lay inert, awaiting reactivation. A rare few survived, changed but whole, to walk the Wy’rded World with newfound purpose.

Now, the Inzandra’az endure as relics, wanderers, scholars, and survivors. Some have reforged themselves into heroes. Others remain hidden, hunted for the secrets they carry. A few are newly forged in secret for purposes yet unknown…
